Copy of the Health Canada's User Fee Proposal, dated March 19, 2015, respecting pesticide cost recovery, pursuant to the User Fees Act, S.C. 2004, c. 6, sbs. 4(2).—Sessional Paper No. 2/41-1131.
(Pursuant to rule 12-8(2), this document is deemed referred to the Standing Senate Committee on Agriculture and Forestry and, pursuant to rule 12-22(5), if that committee does not report within 20 sitting days following the day it received the order of reference, it shall be deemed to have recommended approval of the user fee.)

Presenting or Tabling Reports from Committees

The Honourable Senator Day, Chair of the Standing Senate Committee on National Finance, presented its nineteenth report (Bill C-21, An Act to control the administrative burden that regulations impose on businesses, without amendment).

The Honourable Senator Black moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Bellemare, that the bill be placed on the Orders of the Day for a third reading at the next sitting.

The Honourable Senator Runciman, Chair of the Standing Senate Committee on Legal and Constitutional Affairs, presented its twenty-sixth report (Bill C-32, An Act to enact the Canadian Victims Bill of Rights and to amend certain Acts, without amendment).

The Honourable Senator Runciman moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Patterson, that the bill be placed on the Orders of the Day for a third reading at the next sitting.

The Honourable Senator Downe introduced a Bill S-226, An Act to amend the Canada Revenue Agency Act (reporting on unpaid income tax).

In amendment, the Honourable Senator Joyal, P.C., moved, seconded by the Honourable Senator Ringuette, that Bill C-479 be not now read a third time, but that it be amended in clause 7,

(a) on page 6, by deleting lines 38 to 43; and

(b) on page 7, by deleting lines 1 to 5.
